Although it is still a secret as to what we will be doing for PADI Women's Dive Day (PWDD), held on the 15th of June 2023, we still wan't to talk a little bit about why it is held!
Here in the South of Spain there aren't many female divers. As a matter of fact, I have been working in this industry for nearly 4 years and know very few female divers, let alone professionals.
Although the name of this day names women, it isn't just for us! Any gender, race and age can join! It does help to increase the awareness of scuba diving being, not just a male sport, but everyones sport!
If you are reading this and are already a diver, please keep this date free in your calendar, as our event will be awesome!! Just to give you a hint, there will be goodies!
